The U.S.Guitar Duo is a premiere musical project comprised of two internationally renowned classical guitarists William Jenks and David Tutmark from Portland, Oregon.  With their interactive and entertaining performances, their unique and exciting interpretations, and their devout mission to expand the guitar duo repertoire, it is no wonder why this duo is receiving invitations to perform all over the world with concerts in the United States, Mexico, Chile, the Dominican Republic, Brazil, Italy, and more.  Before forming the duo, each artist has made their own substantial contributions to the musical world.

William Jenks began his musical career as a gifted singer, performing choral music at age six. As a youth he participated in a memorable Carnegie Hall performance of the Magnificat, under the celebrated composer and maestro John Rutter. After switching to guitar as a young man, Jenks would go on to record four widely-praised CDs, each supported by extensive touring. He gave a series of favorably received solo concerts in the United States, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, and Chile.  Jenks is also known for his superb teaching through Maryllhurst University and his private studio where he has trained guitarists from beginning through professional levels. He also created the Portland Classic Guitar Concert Series where he has presented over 100 concerts of world renowned artists such as the Romeros, John Williams, Manuel Barrueco, Eliot Fisk, David Russell, The Assads, Sharon Isbin, The Los Angeles Guitar Quartet, Ana Vidovic and many more.

David Tutmark comes from a background in electric guitar and rock where he toured extensively and his music was used in various commercials and independent films with the band Blue Ember.  He also performed in 2017 at Lahootie Melo in Hyderbad, Pakistan for a crowd of 20,000.  As a classical player, David is known for his visceral yet polished style of playing and consistently delivers captivating performances of traditional and contemporary classical guitar.  David earned a Bachelor's degree in classical guitar performance from Portland State University.  He maintains a busy performance career, giving over 300 performances between 2012 and 2017.  Today he continues to maintain a busy schedule as a performer and teacher of the guitar.

The U.S. Guitar Duo is currently accepting invitations for concerts and master classes around the globe.
